Doireann Ní Ghríofa is a bilingual writer living and working in Ireland. Her fifth book is Oighear (Coiscéim, 2017) and a collaborative book of poetry and art made with artist Alice Maher will soon be published by The Salvage Press. Doireann is Commissioned Writer for Temple Bar Gallery + Studios 2018, Artist-in-Residence for Cork Midsummer Festival 2018-2019, and Associate of Trinity College Centre for Literary Translation, Dublin. Among her awards are the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature and the Michael Hartnett Award.
