About Andrea Chapela

Born in Mexico City, Andrea Chapela studied Chemistry, and has an MFA in Spanish Creative Writing from the University of Iowa. From 2008 to 2015 she published Vâudïz, a YA fantasy saga, with the Spanish publishing house Urano. In 2016 she was awarded the Jóvenes Creadores grant by Mexico’s FONCA to write a sci-fi short story collection. She will attend Clarion West 2017.
