Francesco Verso (Bologna, 1973) has published the novels Antidoti Umani, e-doll (2008 Urania Mondadori Award) and Livido (Odissea Award and Italia Award for Best SF Novel). In 2015 he won the second Urania Mondadori Award with BloodBusters (ex-aequo with Sandro Battisti) a contemporary grotesque thriller novel. His novel Livido, translated by Sally McCorry as Nexhuman, has recently been acquired by Apex Books and it will be out in the USA in summer 2018. In 2014 he founded Future Fiction, a multicultural project publishing the best SF from the world with authors such as Ian McDonald, Michalis Manolios, Clelia Farris, Xia Jia, Liu Cixin, Vandana Singh and others. He lives in Rome with his wife and daughter.
